Tree of Life - we have all heard, here I show a Tree of Death, where 2 victims of gang rape in India were subsequently hung on a mango tree, with the villagers taking it in like nothing out of the ordinary, a day in India…

I look to trees for their roots, as I search my own. I look at their majesty, their towering strength, their far-reaching branches - like our families, the fruits they bear, like our children. We are nourished, fed, clothed by these wondrous trees, they are our medicine, our shelter.

The structure of the earth resembles the structure of our body, roots, arteries, capillaries, lungs. We are the earth, the earth is us. By polluting, damaging and destroying the earth we are destroying ourselves.
